Discover Colombia.

A private villa offers a different experience from a traditional hotel. You generally enjoy more personal space, shared living areas, and a setting suited to your group. This can be especially appealing for families, couples travelling together, or friends who want to spend time under one roof.

Depending on the property, you may find a kitchen, pool, terraces, or private outdoor spaces. However, amenities, staffing, and services vary significantly between homes. The best choice depends on what matters most to you: privacy, location, independence, personal service, or easy access to nearby attractions.

Absolutely, Colombia can be a wonderful destination for Canadian travellers! From the colourful streets of Cartagena to the beautiful landscapes of the Coffee Region, the country offers incredible experiences and warm hospitality.

Like any destination, travelling with the right information and making thoughtful choices goes a long way. Choosing a reputable private villa or trusted hotel, using vetted local transportation providers, and exploring with experienced guides can help make your journey comfortable, enjoyable, and safer.

At ALZUR, we believe that knowing your destination makes all the difference. We encourage travellers to plan carefully, choose reliable providers, and review Canada's official travel advisories before departure.

We are also working to make Colombia a destination for families — a country where visitors can enjoy every single activity without a worry.

Some properties provide on-site staff, while others operate as independent vacation homes. Housekeeping, maintenance, cooking, and assistance arrangements can therefore differ considerably.

It is important to distinguish between cleaning before arrival and daily housekeeping during a stay. Similarly, having an employee on-site does not necessarily mean that a private chef or concierge service is included.

Each property should be assessed individually. Clear information about staffing, service schedules, and responsibilities helps travellers understand what to expect and whether the accommodation matches their preferred level of independence or assistance.

ALZUR is a Colombia destination specialist serving the entire Canadian market, from coast to coast — not just Montréal or Quebec. We work with Canadian travellers across the country, in your language.

We already offer private villas, vacation homes and tailor-made experiences in Colombia, supported by in-depth destination knowledge and services provided through trusted local partners.

The villas presented on our website are not the only ones we have access to. If you are interested in other regions of Colombia, we would be more than happy to present you with more options.

Contact us to tell us which regions interest you, the type of home you are looking for, and the experiences you would enjoy — we will prepare a proposal tailored to your trip.
